Binary attachments should be blocked on the list by default. Text files
apparently do go through as attachments. There is also a maximum allowed
message size in case a binary attachment would get through to stop the
message from sending.
Also, postings to the digest version are run through a MIME-stripper to
remove HTML and attachments from them.
If there are further questions about the list, please direct them to me
off-list at email@example.com so as not to waste list bandwidth. Thanks.
