On the F-7b and GP-9b units the front was the same as the PRR's A units. On
the F-7b the steam generator was at the rear and on the GP-9b the long hood
was considered the front.  On GG-1's the front was the end with the steam
generator, all units are marked with a small F to designate the front. I'm not
sure on RDC's .
