Ed,
I know how you feel. Two PC experiences in my life stand out. I was
invited as a child by a PC engineer who lived next door to my Aunt to take
a cab ride from Croton-Harmon to Albany and back ( the thrill of my life!)
and also the local yard crew at Manchester CT , when as a kid, I proudly
showed off my newly purchased Penn Central HO boxcar from "The Train
Exchange" hobby shop located just behind the yard. In
reciprecation(spelling?) they showed me how they rerailed locomotives and
kept track joints together with blocks of wood !
The people were the real Penn Central!
