Contact the Webmaster
Thanks for your interest in this web site. I welcome your comments, praises, and criticisms about the Penn Central Railroad and this web site. In order to save you and I some time, please read the following items before contacting me:
- If you have a question about the Penn Central Railroad, such as its locomotives, routes that it operated, etc., please read my Frequently Asked Questions page first. There is a chance that your PC question has been asked and been answered already there. You may also wish to subscribe to and ask your question on the Penn Central Mailing List.
- If you are seeking information about a friend or relative who used to work for a railroad and are looking for employee information on him or her, please don't e-mail me about it, as I do not have access to such records--read the Frequently Asked Questions page to see where you may be able to access those records.
- If you are looking for information on a railroad wreck which killed one of your relatives, please don't e-mail me. I don't have any railroad records about that sort of thing, and I probably have never heard of the wreck either. Unfortunately, other than local newspapers, I really don't know where to tell you to look for more information.
- If you are looking for property deeds or information on real estate that is owned or was once owned by the Penn Central Corporation, please don't e-mail me, as I don't have that kind of information, nor do I really care. Contact American Premier Underwriters' real estate department...see the FAQ.
- If you are looking to ride a passenger train or need directions to Penn Station, you can find that information on the Amtrak web site.
One of these days I'll post of a page of all the strange emails I've received via this web site...
While I try to respond to all emails in an expedient manner, I often get behind in my email and it takes me a while to catch up. So if you haven't heard from me after a week or two, don't panic. Also, even though I run a PC web site, I am not an expert on all things Penn Central, so if I don't know something, I will tell you that. If I know of a source that does know, I will tell you that too.
Please note that as of March 2008, I am no longer accepting contributions of new material for this web site. I still have a backlog of material to add that will probably take me a couple of more years to get through.
Thank you again for visiting my site and for your interest in the Penn Central Railroad.
